In most cases, yes. Older pews were built from solid hardwood with joined construction that is expensive to reproduce today, and they carry the history of the congregation. When the wood is sound, structural repair is far cheaper than new millwork and keeps the original craftsmanship. We assess the frames first and will tell you plainly if a pew is genuinely beyond worthwhile repair rather than repairing something that should be replaced.
