Church Pew Pickup & Delivery Across Canada

Distance shouldn't decide whether your congregation can restore its pews. Atlas is a Montréal workshop, established 1967, and for churches beyond Greater Montréal we bring the work to us and return the finished pews to you — pickup & delivery across Canada. Here is exactly how that works, honestly.

One workshop, pews from across the country

A church pew is best restored in a proper workshop, where stripping, clamping, finishing and upholstery can be done correctly with the right tools and space. That is why the honest way to serve churches beyond our city is not to pretend we have a shop in every province, but to move the work to the one workshop that does it well and move it back. Church-furniture specialists across North America work this same travel-and-transport way, and it is what lets a single skilled shop serve a wide area without cutting corners.

For your church that means one of two things. If the job is reupholstery, we usually only need the removable seats, cushions and kneelers — light, cheap to transport, quick to turn around. If it is refinishing or structural repair, we may need the pew bodies. Either way we plan the logistics and timeline with you and set it all out in a free written estimate before anything leaves your building.

1. Photos & a free estimate

Send photos and measurements of the pews. We identify what each needs — repair, refinishing, reupholstery — and put a written estimate, including transport, in your hands with no obligation.

2. Pickup & the work

We collect the pews or their removable parts on an agreed date and restore them at our workshop, where the craftsmanship is done right.

3. Delivery & reinstall

We deliver the finished pews back to your sanctuary on schedule, planned around your service calendar so the church stays usable.

Truthful today, ready to grow

Our written commitment today is pickup & delivery across Canada from our Montréal workshop — that is what we can stand behind for every congregation, and it is the honest basis for the location pages we will add next. Churches near the border or in the United States can contact us for a case-by-case, cross-border quote; we will tell you plainly what is workable rather than claim a presence we don’t have. As demand grows, this page is where a fuller North-American service area will be spelled out.

Pickup & delivery — FAQ

  • For churches outside the Greater Montréal area, we arrange transport of the pews — or their removable seats, cushions and kneelers — to our Cavendish workshop, complete the restoration, and deliver everything back to your sanctuary. It is the same travel-and-transport model church-furniture specialists use across North America. We plan the schedule and logistics with you up front, and the cost is set out in the written estimate before anything moves.

  • It depends on the work. Reupholstery only needs the removable seats, cushions and kneelers, which are far easier and cheaper to ship. Refinishing and structural repair usually need the pew body, or the church may prefer we take the whole pew. We help you decide the lightest option that does the job when we quote.

  • Our written baseline is pickup and delivery across Canada from our Montréal workshop. Transport cost and timing depend on distance, so a church in Ontario or the Maritimes is a different logistics plan than one in Québec — all of it laid out in the estimate. For congregations in and around Greater Montréal we also offer on-site assessment and local pickup and delivery.

  • Cross-border pew transport into the United States involves customs and carrier considerations we handle case by case, so if your church is in the US or near the border, contact us with the details and we will tell you honestly what is workable. We do not claim a US presence — we are a Montréal workshop that can quote cross-border projects individually.

  • We start from photos and dimensions. Clear photos of the pews, the joints, the finish and the cushions, plus measurements and a count, let us give a genuinely useful written estimate before any visit or transport. It costs you nothing.
